Some requests for enhancements - keep up the good work!

Please let me know if these should go in another forum...

Hi There:

Really enjoying the game.  Got two of my friends to buy it so if you ever come up with multi-player we're ready!

Some enhancements I would like to request:

- Initial formations - set up before battle or create and save options.  There is nothing more irritating than starting a battle with mages and pioneers on the line while the infantry is huddling in the rear, especially with wolves or dragons!

- Bright glow of selected unit/army - Countless times I thought I had one unit selected and ended up wasting two turns of another or blew away mana for nothing.

- When a city levels up please highlight it on the map and center the main map on it.  I thought at first this is what was happening and ended up promoting cities to the wrong category.  Being unable to scroll the map or see behind the option window prevents me from knowing where the city is located.

- Is there a way to highlight which city has which resources on the governing screen?  I have looked a couple times but haven't found it yet.  It would be really helpful to know where the crystal resources are when there is a shortage and I can upgrade the mines.

- Adding an editor so that we can make our own items would be extremely fun!

- Please disable the "go to next unit function" while a city training/build screen is open.  I'm tired of getting knocked out of the window and having to figure out which city to go back to.

Thanks for making a great game.  I'm having a ton of fun with this one.

Regards,

Garry Lemasa

I'm no developer, and I cannot fulfill requests, but I have a few fixes and workarounds.

Initial formations: the game places ranged units in the back, so you may want to give your mage champions a ranged weapon, preferably one with high initiative.

As for knowing where your resources are, check this screenshot...

So, hover your mouse pointer over the resource you're interested in, and look at the cities that generate it.  Clumsy, but better than nothing.  It would be very nice if the developers made the names clickable, so that they would take you to the city.

You can use the arrow keys to scroll the map with that big pop-up in the way... a work-around.

It looks like someone is working on such an editor https://forums.elementalgame.com/437278. But I'm not sure.
