Spellbook: Calm, Devotion, Oppression?!

 Okay, so Hi. I'm sort of new here and I have a few questions mysteries to solve.

First of all I love FE, and I love playing magicians in games.

I found out that there was combo magic.

And I got really exited and wanted to experiment with this. Just to find out that... The spell I was looking for are nowhere to be found. The spell i had set my eye's on was called Calm. So I started to look what had happened. 

I found out that they had changed the spell I was looking for to Devotion a 2 lvl life 2 lvl fire magic. GREAT, and off i went into the world of FE to find out that -"Hey, it's missing again...".

+ Changed Calm (Life and Water) to Devotion (Life and Fire)

 So I started to look through all the change logs to find out that there is no word on what happened to that spell. Now I do suspect that they just renamed it Oppression and gave it to Death magic. But i'm still sort of disappointed that a 2 level life 2 level (fire/water) magic got turned into a level 1 Death magic spell.

Maybe I suck maybe I missed something but I've found more examples of this happening and was wonder what is going on. Now I'm sure there is something buggy as later on I found myself having the Calm spell in my spell book.

Can anyone shed some lights on what happened to Devotion/Calm?

Maybe these spells are from the Beta?

The spell book on my destop says Life/Water is Matle of Oceans (As it is in game for me),

"Strategic - Unit Enchantment
The mana costs of all tactical spells this unit casts is
reduced by 40%."

Ad Fire/Life is Glyph of Life,

"Strategic - City Enchantment
Units defending enchanted city start with
regeneration (they heal 1 hit point per turn)."

The names you presented seem interchangeable with the effects these two spells have.

It's pretty obvious that the spell book is out of date... There is no Calm or Devotion anymore that I know of...

There is only 2 spells that reduces unrest, Oppression (death 1) and Bless City (researched - but way too mana expensive), I believe these were changed during the whole essence change around beta4.

 

Also... just somethings I noticed off my head from the spellbook...

Life2/Water2 = Mantle of Oceans (not calm)

Life2/Fire2 = Glyph of Life

Fire2/Earth2 = Cloak of Thorns (not Sunder)

Fire2/Air2 = Sunder (not Tireless March)

along with some changed to inspiration and no more imbue champion...

Many thanks on your replies. I realized that these were out of date as well. I figured that to my knowledge the most updated spell book can actually be found in the General section of this forum.
