[CRASH] Game crashes on load

Crash when I load any one of 3+ save games for a particular campaign. Saves from early in the campaign don't crash. The game is using my custom faction as one of the AIs, while I am using Resoln. Possibly related to the elimination of a faction (the AI and i each eliminated one), or the fact that I made Kraxis my vassal?

Deleted my prefs.ini but had no effect.
