I have a little application called "Window Washer". I run it and it finds all that stuff, (and a whole lot more) and gets rid of it for me.

If you really prefer the manual method, then follow MikeB314's lead.

don't forget to also check in C:\Documents and Settings\Your User Name\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files...

motion, I almost put in the thread (just for you) that I knew where my cookies were, just not the computers.(Tainted salad) Is that program a freebie or a store bought? If free, where can I get it.(I know, search the web) Thanks all.

Another good method to get at them is to do the following:

1. Go to "Control Panel" and make sure it's in "Classic View"
2. Now, click on "Internet Options"
3. Click "Temporary Internet Files"

Now you have a choice....

1. You can click on the "Delete cookies" button
2. You can click on the "Delete Files" button

Or my favourite...

1. Click on the "Settings" button
2. In the "Settings" panel click "View Files" button
3. Now you can pick and choose which cookies you want gone.

Window Washer is found at http://www.webroot.com I find it's a great, one-step way to clean up all kinds of junk - not just cookies but temporary internet files, browser history, recent documents, Run history etc. Pretty cheap too

An alternative to motion's instructions:
In Internet Explorer, Selct the Tools menu, click on Intenet Options. The rest is the same.
