Altar can't train defenders?

it seems they can't build this kind of unit after leatherworking tech. wad ?

not sure, how do you hide a unit? if I check under edit -> show hidden design they're not there either :/

I reread your post. You do need to research leatherworking to get defenders. The defenders are designed around their leather armor.

I know that, I have the tech researched but no defenders buildable 

 

 

edit: k, found the issue, you also need training for the shield.

I had just forgot you also need training tech since they come with a wooden shield :D

yes, there is some need more than one tech to get those guys...
