Has anyone considered this possible mod?

Modding the Gal Civ races into Elemental, so all the galaxy fights for a sole planet!

I have been thinking about this since I saw a picture at Societies website where it looked like they had all landed there to take over that planet, and at first I confused it with a teaser for WoM back then. :P

So, am I talking nonsense, is that a good idea, or I am simply nuts? :D

Hmmm, problem is that Gal Civ don't do much power or magic, they just reply on techonoy rather....I wonder about that how to replace magic with techonoy, but it's can be done but lot of work, I think...

No, You are not nut...I think this is good, but at this point, I think I lack of this skill, I know mod xml, but art, way art combat work in game, that might go outside of my skill, unless somehow I learned to do it but not so right now..

I'll Work on having the Altarians in the game.  Done!  I might have made them too good, they have the ability to make their own champions and can do an endless amount of quest.

I have been thinking of making a Drath race and faction mod.  If you don't know, the world of Elemental is the same as the world of Altaria, so that means that the Drath are also of this world and were in the last game, WoM.

Oh, I didn't know that...

Wasn't there Darth villages in WoM as a resource? Or maybe I have been confusing them with the Drota guys... :S

Yeah I know, even Tandis survives to help us in Gal Civ.

Using tech and that could be simply ignored. Also, even if they were the high tech races we know, imagine that the time travel used to get to Elemental did not allow them to bring anything bu themselves, how would they go about rebuilding a civilization that advanced? I think it like the Thallan (The Mantis dudes, I forget their name right now.) they came from further ahead, and they could not simply replicate their tech.

As for magic, I recall that some Drengin Tech did mention something along the lines of harvesting the energy that is released upon death, which sounds oddly similar to how death magic works... Not that important here, but a fun tidbit. (Assuming I am not confusing stuff. :P)

And besides, most races are human like already, and I saw how Stormworld even has some spidermen things as a race, if that is possible, I think it could be done. However I am aware that it would not be an easy mod.

I'm just throwing ideas around to see if someone finds them good enough to be made. :P

Yea, the Drath were in little villages like Knights of Asok and Ogres are now.

And are Drota and Wildlings the same thing?  I'm totally confused by that bit of lore, maybe the heirgamsthing says.

I think not? The Drota in the campaign were basically tribal dark skinned people from what I saw. (We did get a champion there did we not? The woman that guided Relias during the second map)

Wildings are more like the good Darkling sibling, they are small and not so much tribal as primitive.

And the Hiergamenon is not as lore intensive as one would like, especially the in game one, only the online one Brad linked the other day was, and it was more of a story rather than an index.

Many times I have gone into it in game expecting some lore of X spell or a nice small paragraph about each building, but alas, it only says the actual bonuses it gives and such.
