Do we have an ETA on 1.02?

Also, how soon until that delicious Map Pack DLC is out?

You just got 1.01 and now you're wanting 1.02? Geesh isn't anybody ever happy with what they have.

Ask not what your developer can do for you, but what YOU can do for your developer. ;)

I already know what I can do for the developer: I can buy their stuff. They gotta make it first though.

Frogboy stated that they want to release 1.1 before Christmas so we might not see 1.02 but just 1.1 somewhere mid december. Then again, we might get a 1.02 or something like that with a few more bugfixes, before we get the bigger 1.1 patch that focuses on AI and balance.

1.02 is currently due this week.

I already got some evil AI stuff in and a pretty huge performance boost at the end of turns. I rewrote the way units are found on tiles that should have a big impact late game.

Thank you for continuing to work on the AI. Although it is already nasty even for experienced elemental players, it can always be made more interesting to fight as well.

It should be noticeably better in tactical battles. I almost have it using its personal items better (i.e. Salted Pork) but i had to take it out because they may be making a game play change to that.

Please put an AI cheat in to use Iru Elixirs for 150 gold if they have them unlocked, even if they aren't in the backpack. Iru Elixirs remove a random injury from champions, and it is crucial that the AI can access this functionality - particularly on higher difficulties. Not only will it make the AI more interesting to fight (stronger heroes) but it will also prevent an imbalance where the player can do something that the AI can't.

Just make it where the AI AUTOMATICALLY heals all wounds after a certain amount of time. ;) (On higher difficulties of course)

I was going to have the AI scan your hard drive for incriminating files, then black mail the player into letting it win.

That sounds pretty fair to me. I mean, you gave it admin rights to install, right?

Working on the tactical AI is great news. I've been playing the Scenario (finally) and really noticed some poor AI choices. For instance, AI being too cautious while approaching to attack. Or failing to target a unit with 2 HP left. Or casting spells on units with high magic resistance instead of those that are much more vulnerable.

That reminds me of the cartoon from long ago of the person sitting at his computer talking to someone over his shoulder saying "FINALLY, I am going to defeat the evil wizard", while under the desk you see a hand in a wizards robe coming out of a hole in the wall to unplug the computer. o_O

to be fair it is still a fairly buggy game. most people won't be happy with what they have, if what they have is incomplete. There's a substantial list of issues still needing fixed.

it's still an awesome game though ^^ buggy or not, i'm playing 1.01 right now

Can't wait, I run into crashes if I reload too much. I will play some hardcore ironman game after I have learned the basics of the game, but the wiki is woefully incomplete. I am taking notes, but my attention to detail really sucks lol

agreed! i want to see the ai powerful enough to win while using the same rules as the player. The objective in improving it should be to replace cheats, with intelligent use of game mechanics.

Too bad the infirmary doesn't heal wounds, just hitpoints.

Oh, it does, when CIA asks really nicely. I remember that under Bush, they pressured Google to flush its caches, because it made their changes to articles referring to events in the past obvious.
