Official Modding Support

instructions, videos, howto's, etc...

So although SD has officially embraced and encourages modding, that popup in the editor tools says it's unsupported.  So what level of encouragement are SD going to give?  Meaning, will there be official documentation on what to use, where to use it, when to use it, how to implement, etc...?  Is there any documentation now about what XML to edit, when to edit it, why to edit it, what the tags within represent and what it affects, etc?

I also read somewhere (sorry, can't remember) that the scenario was done with the same modding tools we have available to us, will there be documentation on how it was created, and how (if) we can create our own scenarios?

By 'unsupported' it almost certainly means 'we aren't going to fix bugs created in mods'/'we only fully intend to make the base game work correctly' or something similar.

Yeah, unsupported mod tools means "work around the bugs you encounter".

I've been thinking about a modding wiki, that's doable if people chip in but there aren't a lot of modders right now so I don't really want to spend time on that. A wild run-on sentence appeared!

I'm also very interested in how modding is going to get supported going forward. I did notice in the modlib thread (https://forums.elementalgame.com/435776 ) that if there was sufficient mods to warrant it we'd get an in-game overlay for those.
