Sooo in every game I start I cant build a new city after the first one, it basically tells me there isnt grain _anywhere_ and, to further my pain, I cant see tile resources no matter what I do. Ive launched multipule games, and played with the option box alot. someone please explain this makes the game almost unplayable...
So you have to be at least 6 tiles away from any city. Sometimes the new grain tiles may be far away from the first city, around 20 - 30 tiles away. For the most part the grain tiles are around 12 tiles away from the first city.
ive looked man, there isnt any spot anywhere and I cant even see the food/material/mana listing of any of the tiles either...
Do you see any tile yield for your first city or is there nothing. If you see nothing, then you have the same problem I had in the beta. A total reinstall of the game will help, but I know its a lot to ask.
run the game with -cheat at the end of the shortcut (if steam under launch options)
Then click on ctrl+u
and see if there is no tile yields on the entire map after you first city.
