Sharing creations (unit loadouts, stamps, etc.)

I read that the AI will pick up and use some of the unit loadouts that we create. Is it possible for the game to pick up and use some of the unit loadouts that OTHER people create? I picked the team I like (Tarth) and I play only as that team. But why can't the game connect out to Stardock and pick up some creative unit designs for the other factions that other people have made?

 

It would be extra cool if we could allow factions and leaders that other people created in our games, without having to manually download anything. Or, does this functionality already exist and I just can't find it?

Part of me just wants to make a boatload of stamps. I think the current map generator is a bit lacking to be honest.

 

Regardless, the game is still new. I'm sure large compilations of stamps and custom units will pop up eventually. Probably not until the first couple updates have been release and the bugs have been ironed out though.

 

Wasn't there an option in WoM to connect to a database of sorts and download custom maps, or am I making that up?
