A few more large pre-built maps would be nice to have...

Random Map Generator is ... ummm ... crap, so I normally play on Curgen's domain. It's a fine map, but gets repetitive after a while. It also has trouble fitting in more than 10 players. So a few new large HUGE well thought out maps would be a great addition to the game.

Why do you find random maps crap? Just curious, I play nothing but large random maps, and for a while I've even stopped re-rolling.

Oftentimes the sovereign distribution is uneven. Same with the resources and city-friendly tiles. I have yet to be marooned on a small island though.

I don't have any problems with the Random maps, and I play on them most of the time, but I would also like to see more premade maps.  Premade maps can have better balance and more attention to detail, so they can be fun to play on even if you are used to randoms.

They just look like crap to me, they don't resemble anything remotely like a landmass.  Just a weird square chunk of land with bizarrely shaped seas.  I'm more of a RP'r, so seeing the landmass this epic story of my sovereign, Master Bates of the Kingdom of Spankalot, being all square and strange, loses some of it's imersion.  Also, don't judge my Sov's name and faction...

Would that be Mr. Gilbert Bates ?

Of course, Master Bates loves his good friend Beaver.
