I PRE-ORDERED this game from best buy, mainly because I wanted the Best Buy exclusive Pre-Order content. I got the game, realized how terrible it was and uninstalled the first day. I found out about Fallen Enchantress being given free to those who purchased before a certain date and feel that sicne I pre-ordered (PURCHASED THE GAME BEFORE IT WAS EVEN RELEASED), I am one of those deserving people.
I would LOVE to give this franchise another chance. I had HIGH hopes for WoM, and was completely let down. I kept checking back to see if they ever fixed things and apparrently, they just never could. Which is why they started from scratch and recreated another game.
I sent a ticket into stardock support and I think the support agent is confused. He gave me another WoM cd key.
I'm pretty sure we (me and the developers at stardock) can both agree that going back and playing Elemental: WoM is NOT worth anyone's time.
I'm pretty sure I'm one of the deserving few that should be getting the Elemental: Fallen Enchantress game for free, if not 80% off or so.
If Elemental: WoM wasn't such a terrible game and Fallen Enchantress was a new game, sure, I would be down to go and purchase it.
But it's not. It's a remake of a catastrophic failure and that's why they are coming back and hooking up the guys that had faith in the original product, but were let down, the game for free.
I sent in pictures of my retail box, which includes pictures of the Best Buy exclusive pre-order content flyer as well as the flyer for Destiny's Embers.
It includes pictures of my retail box and the front and back of the game manual, which shows the sticker where my "Elemental BB REG CODE" is located.
Obviously I pre-ordered this game, retail, from best buy and for some reason, I can go to elementalgame.com/bestbuy and it knows that I had activated my best buy exclusive content, but it does not show under games that I purchased Elemental. Possibly because I bought it so long ago (PRE-ORDERED) and the system has been changed since then.
I'm not sure. I just want what everyone else who pre-ordered is getting. I just want what is fair. I paid 50$ for this game before it even came out and was extremely let down by the finished product. I see all of these people who bought directly from Stardock are getting Fallen Enchantress for free...
What about the people who didn't have a fast enough internet connection to download the game back then and pre-ordered retail?
Aren't we deserving as well?
