Formation

been playing this back since it was war of magic ... love the game but I gota ask ... is there any way to controll the formation of my group at all ?  I have tryed many ways and ether have missed it outright or perhaps there isent one.  if there is not one then it feels at times like one is desperatly needed I often find one or two of my weaker mages like to sneak out front  with my tanks and warriors ... and then they proceed to get slaughtered if the enimy has any sort of inishitive bonus ... or my attackers somehow end up in the middle or the back ... this realy just leaves me frustrated when that happens .. and sadly when I get frustrated I get turned off the game for long periods of time only to go back a week or so later and eventualy have the same problem frustrate me

In a word, no.  I'd love to see this, however.  Perhaps it will be added in an update sometime, but it's not in there, currently.

There was, at least, a slight fix ... archers appear at the back now.  Supposedly, 'weak' units should not be at the front ... but I've had unarmed units such as Pioneers and the Noblewoman from the hut quest appear in front of my melee troops. :/

My mage sovereign, who uses a bow, almost always appears ahead of his melee troops.

Im sure at some point the 9 army slots will be moveable like the build q is and that can give you a general layout for your troops.

Some of the stuff they put in right near the end of the beta polished everything up so much I think they're just letting the dust settle for a bit.  It is a great game though.

Dont let the battles get you down.  The monster and such beat up on the AI pretty good, and today for the first time I seen some shrills attack a pack of wolfs.

Losing some battles is fun.  It teaches you what not to mess with.  Some of the beasts are just that.
