I owned the game since it first came out but never registered it can I still get the new one?

So I played in the beta of the original elemental, I got exited for the game and preordered a physical edition (I even bought the book).  After the game came out and I read of all the disappointment I was never was motivated enough to open it.  I opened it today after hearing about the new release and, I have the serial code but I see know way to input it.  Even if I do will I still get the new one or was it tied to when you registered and not the code?  I would be very disappointed if I cant (although I understand why if not) as I have the serial code I never used literally right in front of me as I type this.

If you had the beta then you had to have preordered (even if you later upgraded to a box), so you should already have FE on your account; just pop over to download.stardock.com and get it. There was no need to register the box if you bought it direct from us.

Odd.  It was so long ago and I couldn't find the game on my account so I assumed it was some sort of signup thing.  I already checked all my old email accounts to see if I had another account I forgot about.  I know that I was in the beta, although I didn't play too much of it but I clearly remember it.  Is their no way to plug in a serial key to see if it had been taken at all?  Also I know this is very unlikely but is it possible to see the name of the account a certain serial key is bound to?

I own the boxed edition of War of magic and can't seem to get it at that link, it shows I own War of magic and allows me to download that but not FE. Am I doing something wrong?

If you bought at retail, you need to have registered in 2010 to get FE automatically. If you mail [email protected] they should be able to help confirm if you should have it or not.
