Just a head's up that we're delaying the beta drop until tomorrow. We made a lot of fixes to the movement, monster stuff, UI, and such and we want a little bit more time to test it before we unleash it on the unsuspecting public. ;)

Update: We're going to push it until Monday.  Originally we were going to wait util release to fix the various annoying animation and cosmetic stuff but it was decided that the public beta group should get to see that polish prior to release. So all those guys running in place or the people walking backwards or the other goofy little cosmetic things are going to be fixed up as well as the monster AI tweaks and a bunch of little UI tweaks.

That bad, huh? Would have been nice to push out the balancing updates separate from the major change in Monster AI so we could further refine that, but I'm sure there's a good reason to push it all together into one massive patch. Regardless, the extra effort and work is appreciated.

No worries frogboy - take the time you need. I'm playing a game now i'm enjoying. Ythrils juggernauts look funny when their shrunk. In my game (world challenging ai challenging) i was able to make three towns (one of each) before the wild animals started attacking me. It gave ythril the time to take out pariden gilden magnar and somebody else. Flaming wall is SOO much fun.

No final beta till Monday. Bit sad (just finished my 0.983 game last night and lost) cause I was ready for a new challenge, but it's probably for the better, familyrelationswise. ;)

Frogboy do you know if they will fix the patch so it does not blow away mount points; or should we (i) install the full version (rather than the smaller patch) ?
