[0.983]Horizontal screen tearing when scrolling

i just finished setting up my system with win7 64.

btw: this fixed for me the problem with a lot of wrong formatted tooltips under vista64 :grin:                                                                                                 

BUT: after installing .983 again and starting my first game i immediatley noticed that now i have horizontal screen tearing whenever i scroll the map :annoyed:

i checked everything regarding vsync etc. but everything is set to the same as under my old vista64 ... hm

i am using a gtx570 with nvidia drivers 306.23.

installing the latest 306.97 did not help...

i never had this screen tearing during all beta 5 builds until now.

does someone else has this issue?!?

Until the next build, do this:

 

When you first start the game, hit Ctrl-Tab once. It should bring up the overlay menu.  Then hit it again.  That should fix it.  It's a weird issue with the GTX5xx series and the font system that we fixed recently.

And yes, if it seems crazy that the problem you describe and the solution are related, the answer is yes, yes it sounds crazy. ;)
