[.983] Level 20 weapon for weak quest?
This just felt odd to me. I just had to give some merchant $100 for a map and I got a maul that does 56 damage and requires level 20:

Quest rewards that are 2 or 3 levels above your heroes make sense but 15 levels is ridiculous. Might as well turn it into cash - more useful at this stage of the game.
Everything should not scale perfectly. You found something cool and you can try and level enough to use it, or sell it. I think this is perfectly ok
Yeah, I wasn't saying it was a bug, just felt weird. But I just did what Jmiddleton suggested and sol it at the shops.
unexpected is often fun. Admittedly requiring level 20 is a bit extreme tho!
To me I would say that was the worst decision, weapons like these are rare, and gildar isn't all that important in the current beta, since it only helps to upgrade your towns, and meaby buy a leather armour for a hero.
But that said, it seems silly the amount of random chance in the current quest huts and goodie huts whether you find 9 times the same burning dagger, or some awesome weapon like this!. So I like the post just to make me think about it.

I like the randomness as well. Level 20 will take for ever before you can use it. I do wish you could have a vault for stuff at your Capital. It would also be useful to equipe new champions if you didn't want to sell something.
Also be cool if the city is cpatured that they get your vault.
It doesn't hurt to hold onto it. I thought it's only when you equip you feel the weight of the item.
Its a random item you get form that quest. We could set a specific item, but I think its more interesting if its open to whatever happens.
Agree, sometimes you just get lucky.
