[0.982] Crash When Verga Resigned - Also Corrupted Saves From About Same Point

Somehow the saves got corrupted.  The last session was a long one, but loading in the current session did work.  It started crashing when Verga resigned - I'm not sure, but he may not have had any cities left when I beat him in a city.  Anyway, just a theory.

Please look at this debug.err and this corrupted autosave.  I have not got a corrupted save in a LONG, long time, but this time it started when Verga resigned, so check out these attached files and fix the problem if you can. =)

something similat that I also posted

 

I unit was left on the map - and "Talking: to it brought up a converastaion with the dead Verga

 

Just treated it as a glitch at the time

Confirmed for me. It appears every time a faction surrenders on their own, the sov remains on the map.

I saw that in beta 4, and I believe it was reported in this forum.  Clearly not fixed in beta 5.
