Can you please allow us to re-roll map without having to got through the set-up process again?
Didn't know that thanks.
Chicken Play with what you get
Hey, be nice!.
Hey, it's currently a single player game, so I say: "Play it how you want!".
Make a mite burger and suck it up. Overcoming the odds is the fun of strategy gaming
And I've done it before. But I can understand why people would want to use Ctrl-N.
What he said
For some reason when I use this it crashes the game sometimes =S
you need to make sure that the game is sitting idle when you control-n, it will crash if busy changing turns or busy doin just about anything other than sitting there -
and sometimes it just crashes.
- All crashes should be reported since I guess the devs don't get them that much.
Right, we know how to work around them
Do you think they still get the automatic generated reports sent to them after a game crashes?
I still really wish there had been some sort of pop-up saying report sent. Just so we know it actually was, seems pretty plausible that crashes may have been bad enough to take down the reporting system as well.
I'm more likely to reroll a great start than a bad one. I want a balanced start, not super-easy and not top bad.
I'm looking for a decent start not a great one.
I used to re-roll.
I have played my last two or three posted play-throughs without re-rolling, and it's been fine - you do not know what's just beyond your sight.
That said, my last play-throughs have been on Ridiculous, which is ridiculously easier than Insane. When I play on Insane again, if my house rules are restrictive enough, I will re-roll if the start location is completely unsuited to my self-imposed style.
