Chaos is already pointless, id rather that stacked instead of ice elementals. Also it is not pointless to bring a unit that can cast slow FOR YOU. Although they should modify the ice elemental to cast the proper slow, just for free. But with no stacking.

what the point of having something casting a spell you already can cast yourself?

would make elemental just very weak

They used to do that. It was changed because it was horrible and pointless.

its super strong now... you can really lock an enemy, even too much

im not saying its super cool but at least it provides a different gameplay instead of the usual things

With just a few watershards this can get out of hand. There is plenty of places to use 2 slow spells and no reason to take away 50% of an enemy's initiative. But, as with most things, people won't complain until the AI starts doing it to them....  :annoyed:

But I LIIIIIIIKE being able to roflstomp the compies! X(

Seriously though, I feel like haste and slow are the only 2 spells that make a non-fire mage useful.  IMO, their initial bonuses/maluses are fine, they just scale too well.  Don't make my poor, clumsy mage sovereign even more useless!

you can play an offensive air mage quite well, storm early mid is utterly OP if you make a custom sovereign like magnar with air mage its pretty doable

apart from this option air (like other school) like some real combat tool

there should be 1 rank 5 and 1 rank 4 spell very good for combat maybe 1 strong party buff
