Overall very impressed - But to me this remains a major bug.
So I just tried another game - this time as pure 981 with all all new map
Ythril got out of the NA seven tunrs early
If it persists through a savegame, you should upload it man 
.
Also post a debug, if nothing else it might give some system information to the devs.
(Oh wait, on second thought, now I'm being stupid ^_^) but savegame at least.

PS if you take a look at the second and shop - you'll also see that leather curiass are not avail - this is due to the no lether armour bug
