Suggestion for reworking the 'Road Building' trait

I like the idea of being able to choose 'Road Building' as a trait if you're going magic or war, since it takes quite a well to get to economics tech in civ, and therefore I suggest keeping it in (even making it more frequent), but right now it is poorly designed. You can't path like in Civ, so you have to choose the road on every tile and it's a huge waste of time. I propose adding the 'Pathfinder' trait(hope it's not a trait already!).

'Pathfinder': adds the Pathfinder skill. This skill costs 0 mana but takes 2 turns to cast, and requires you to be in a town or outpost. Then after two turns you can cast on any city or outpost (or maybe allied cities too?) and it will build a road to that location. This would take some headache out of the current road pathing, while still requiring a tradeoff in that you have to immobilize your champion for two turns on the strategic map.

I have had multiple governors and still have not seen the trait come up.

I found a hero with it and at some point I was able to make troops with it, but I haven't seen it from leveling.  But then again, if it's a gov trait, it's rare that I would even a hero with it.

Interesting idea. Definately has potential.

I would recommend that the Path of the Govenor receive the ability ot build roads right away. The fact that it's a separate rare feat is just too annoying.

Merging with the OP's idea, it would be icing on the cake if the govenor could build stretches of road from the same confines of his own city.
