I recently had a Random Event happen in my game.

 

It was an earthquake that "unearthed" random things throughout the world.  They were all awesome.  about 5 or 6 gold mines just surfaced.  couple items here and there.  And then this guy was also awakened.  It was just to awesome not to post.  Unfortunately he spawned in my territory, and I was no where near able to fight him.  He took down three outposts and a Conclave City.  I pretty much conceded that part of the world to him.  It was his.  The best part was his armor.

I did leave Magnar alive and build out some troops with the sole purpose of beating this guy.  I did manage to do it, but at a terrible price.  In the real game I would ahve just left him alone for quite awhile.  When ever you hit him, he you were stunned.  He would usually counter attack, and he would usually crit hit with just massive damage.  He never cast a spell, but he had blizzard, despair, Delin's Breath, and Titan's Breath.

Stardock, awesome job.  This guy competely changed the game I was playing.  A whole section of the world had to be forfeited, for a pretty significant amount of time.  And I always had to keep an eye on him.  He would just randomly wander around.  Every now and then hit something of mine.  Then he finally wandered far enough to destroy on of my cities.  This was so much fun.

I would like more stuff like this. A portal sending out spider armies every round until the spider queen protecting it is killed. A monster that goes around killing other monsters and making copies of itself (like the demon splitting Resoln)+++++

hehe saw this too, poor titan spawned next to my lvl 40 mage hero...

Hint: You have to kill him thrice

Hm... I have played FE for countless hours and random events are incredible rare. I have only seen one random event ever as far as I can remember. Looking forward to the spider one. Thanks froggie!

I can confirm this is in. :)  I found it the other night.   Spiders everywhere.  I stopped my warmongering and had to deal with them.  The air spell (Tornado?) that disperses stacks was really helpful.

This guy was just a single.  I tried to weaken with Pillar of Fire, but it didn't really do a lot of damage and he healed really quickly.  I put the brakes on my war campaign to deal with him as well.  Until he whooped me.  Then I just left him alone, gave him a big chunk of land that he could rule, and went back to beating on the last Fallen Empire, Magnar.

I went back and played a saved game just to beat him.  I wanted to see if I would get a piece of his armor.  Nope.  Apparently I damaged it to much to rework into armor that would fit Relias.
