Intro music

Not usually a matter of much consern in a video game, but the music:

I've been meaning to say that your intro music is incredibly good. I often leave the intro screen on my computer just to hear it.

Do not remove it under any circumstances! If one of your designers or some one from the forum with a strong enough influence decides it should be taken out for something else, I will track them down and expunge them.

I have played many games of differing genres and on different platforms for many years,  but this is the best music I've heard in any game and usually I could care less about the music in a game- I often turn it way down in options.

Hah, I'd buy this game just for the music and the beautiful tranquil intro screen that goes so nicely with it :grin:

Who composed it? I'm sure it was done digitally but I don't care I love it.

I agree that the intro music (and gameplay music too) is considerably above average.  This kind of feature adds ambience and immersion to the game.  It also adds class!  Much like the artwork in this game, the quality that it adds is kind of subtle; but it really does make for an enhanced game-playing experience.  I have previously cited Paul Boyer and his six person Art Direction Team, for their contribution in creating, polishing, and extending a unique look to this latest generation of 4x game.  And their contribution keeps getting better ! ...

And, yes, I would like to learn the identity of the person who has composed the music too.  He, she, they, or it   :)  deserves a shout-out too, for the nice work that has been done.     :thumbsup:
