Game Eight Bugs/Comments/Tweaks/Balance/Suggestions
Going to play Resolin again, Normal AI Difficulty, Many Wildlands, Dense Monsters, and Random Events more often. All else default settings.

- [BUG] Ctrl-N Bug still exists
- [Bug] When on the tactical map with the lake in the middle, if a square is highlighted with the white/bluish box and you move your cursor over the lake, the northwest line continues abnormally along a northwest tangent to the edge of the map.
- [Bug] Got a Cyndrum Demon. When I killed a unit with it, the animation to show two demons did not activate. I do have two in the army space. Even in combat, the animation does not update when I get an extra unit.
- [Bug?] Are the ‘Tilda Herbs’ supposed to be available for consumption in the tactical view? Cause, they’re not…
- [Bug] When I took over New Paridan, there was a water shard within the cities boundaries. Now, whenever I zoom out to cloth map, the icon representing the water shard is inverted in color.
- [Bug] Cultural borders still get confused. At the moment Geddens SHOULD be connected with my capital, but isn’t because the borders cross over each other wrong, and as a consequence stil receives the contingency unrest penalty.
- [Tweak] I’m really enjoying the monster strengths. It’s not completely obvious that I’m going to win every battle. Strength COULD be tweaked a little harder…
- [Tweak] Really appreciate the strength of opponent champions and their armies; HOWEVER, it’s very difficult to build counter armies to oppose them with the long build queues that exist for troops. Recommend reducing troop build queues. Logic: If troops are cheaper to build than buildings or resource improvements, then players will be more likely to build them instead of buildings or resource improvements.
- [Tweak] I’m at season 55 and still have NOT encountered a random event with the setting set to ‘more often’. Recommend that the frequency of random events be increased.
- [Tweak] Volume on that ‘intro’ book is still too quiet.
- [Balance] Pioneers still take too long to make. If you want to limit pioneer spam, I recommend you have scouts able to build outposts instead of pioneers.
- [Balance] In comparing the Horse and the Warg, there is no reason to get Wargs. Horses are just overall WAY better. Recommend Wargs receive a bonus to attack. Recommend Horses have a decrease to their bonus to Dodge.
- [Balance] 80 Gildars for a horse is insufficient. Recommend 100 gildars.
- [Balance] The ice elemental battle was set as a ‘medium’ encounter, however my ‘weak’ group slaughtered them. Should be more accurate information given as to whether you can take the group on.
- [Suggestion] When you obtain loot and are given the choice “Equip” and “Okay”, the “Equip” options should open the EQUIP window so that you may equip the item. It should NOT equip automatically without telling you the difference you have in stats.
- [Suggestion] IMO, whether an opponent surrenders OR is destroyed, you should still get the enemy hero as part of your empire. The difference should lie in what weakness he/she has when she joins you.
- [Suggestion] Didn’t care much for the fact that the ice elementals have the SAME sound effects as the cyndrum demons. Recommend ‘blizzard’ type sounds for the ice elementals. Perhaps ‘snow crunching’ sounds.
- [UI] On the left side of the screen “Quests” is cut short…”Que…” Can we fit that ‘s’ in there so we don’t need that “…”?
- [Comment] Not sure if this is a balance issue yet or not, but I’m finding that it takes quite a bit more to get my spells to go through. Lots of resistance to them.
- [Comment] Are you only allowed to run 3 quests at a given time?? I just stepped onto a camp to activate a quest, with 3 already active, and nothing happened.
- [Comment] I’ve found that many maps have more of an ‘island’ theme to them rather than a ‘wasteland’ theme. I’d rather have to cross wastelands of non-inhabitable territory instead of dealing with bottlenecks from water.
- [Applause] I never thought I’d like the increase in unrest when a city is not contiguous with the capital, but the fact that it’s a 15% penalty really makes you want to build those unrest buildings. In an odd way, it works out really well.
- [Applause] Really like the sounds effects that go with the Cyndrum Demon. Great job! You must have snarled in front of the mirror for hours to get that just right.

- [Feature] Recommend having 'wrap world' as an option for the game in both east-west AND north-south (if the engine can handle it). I would love to be able to explore in ALL directions no matter where I am on the map. Thanks.
