[.981][UI Bug]World Difficulty Toolltip

The tooltip for world difficulty gives the information for AI difficulty levels but doesn't actually set base AI level anymore. It should tell you how it changes monster strength and behavior.

Also Expert strength seems not to multiply monster hp, while rediculous doubles hp growth and boosts experience gain. There is a huge diffrence between these two levels. Either this is a bug or expert needs to boost hp by 1.5 or something.

Still a problem.

Still a problem in .991, can we get this fixed for release please? A whole bunch of new players are going to be terribly confused by this.

What he said ^^

I am taking a break from elemental though, and I am too experienced to mind myself, but new players will need the right tooltips for everything.

I posted on it a ways back, also.   All of beta vets can deal with it, but true new players are going to have a rude awakening }:)

I thought that this was established by having two sets of difficulties on the two different screens. I agree that it may lead to some confusion of why their are two different levels of difficulties, but I believe that this will raise enough questions for the players to realize that their are two separate difficulty settings and probably lead to a lot of forum questions. I believe this should at least be in the FAQ on the forum for new gamers.

In fact, maybe us vets should make a FAQ for these new players. I would start it, but I really cannot fathom any real questions that I don't think is clear from context (unfortunate side effect of my field).

The issue is that the World Difficulty tooltip is totally wrong. It gives the info for AI level, not the info for what it actually does which is make monsters tougher and more aggressive.

Hehe... I see that they are using the exact same tool-tip for both of the screens. Now, I get it... I should read it more closely, and will concede that you are correct and my original assessment of the matter should be fixed by saying Monsters instead of AI for the first tool-tip.

I still think a FAQ should be created :)
