Dodge is ridiculous.

So just finished the game, started out with a custom hero and empire, most importantly, using the urxen blood trait i believe, the one that lets you fortify a square. So, you make a monk type unit, with a dodge staff, give him just a little armor, and he's almost unkillable. I was still using effectively the same unit the whole game, only later i added the dodge cloak. I didn't lose a single fight with my sovereign, and had a unit at the end of the game that was from when i first got the five man squads... that shouldn't happen!

Yep, I have seen the same. You get a bit too much dodge from the fortify "spell"

far too much... with the two unit perks, a staff, and the fortify ability, it winds up at like 55 dodge.

High accuracy will counter high dodge.

If the AI used Magic, your monk would have been burnt to a cinder.

Quite true... Although, they do sometimes, the AI does tend to like buff and debuff spells more. A flame dart, or tremor is quite rare.

Does 155 accuracy equally negate 55 dodge? Because I know block is factored in as something different, but I am not sure how quite.
