in common with AOW:Shadow Magic

I very much hope that the battle system will be similar to the AOW: Shadow Magic. mean several full battle groups. opportunity to participate in the battle at once 3-4 players. feature in conjunction with allies to protect the city.

Brad's already indicated that the feature set is pretty fixed for the initial release.  This late in the beta, there will be some minor adjustments and tons of bug squashing.

it's a pity

I'd personally also love to see something along the lines of KOEI's old Romance of the Three Kingdoms games, where both the AI and human players could call in allies who, if they were in the next hex over, would show up partway into a battle, at the edge of the screen.  But it isn't going to happen, and I have to say that what Stardock has done frankly looks damn good at this point.  Given their history, I'm sure if the game takes off (as I suspect it will) they'll do lots of refinement later on.  Don't give up hope.

it is possible to configure a fixed alliances during the generation of the game?

or in the map editor to put down these alliances?

I think that's what the teams do during map setup.

approx. so there. I really liked GalCIvi2 "family" (I do not remember exactly how) relationship (Union disintegrated, just in case a great scene)

I think it is much more interesting to have alliances be created based on factions, power, and technology. There is a very complex system behind the diplomacy levels. I am currently trying to work it so that two weak, like-minded, factions will become allied and then declare war on everyone else. It's hard to do, since the likelihood of an alliance can't be manipulated. All I can do is make the two factions like each other alot in the late game if they are both losing. That should work, but it needs testing.

Now that I realize this is not in the modding forum, I will silence myself. :X

I'd like to tactical combat was like AoW2-SM. With a lot of teams on each side. Possibility of multiple players. With the big fight card. This is about the first post. It is now clear that it is not.

System initiative is also a good thing)
