[.952] Groundbreaking feature request (our own in-game scheduler)

I would like to be able to schedule my own popup reminders.  How many strategy games are out there that have this?  None, that I know of.  For example, I would love to be able to remind myself to change enchantments on City A in 5 turns or check diplomatic trade options with Pariden on Turn 25 or go to the bathroom in 20 turns, etc.

I agree, what a great idea. Is it possible to mod things like this? You'd need some way of dynamically setting triggers that would cause custom pop-ups after a certain number of turns... I know you modder types can tinker endlessly with stats through XML, but how moddable is the UI itself?

This would definitely be a convenient thing to have.

This would help me nicely as a modder too. I often schedule events or duration-effects in strategic mode. For example, one event I have is that any champion who falls in battle between "event" and 40 turns forward has a chance to leave your service. But there's no timer or anything, so the player has to manually keep counting the turns.

Another is when a player finds a sworn dragon egg and becomes a dragonrider. Once the egg is hatched, the player must wait 150 turns before summoning the dragon (as it grows to maturity). Very difficult to keep track of!

If I may make a suggestion, it wouldn't hurt to have the ability as a modder to put stuff into your scheduler as well. I know it's not exactly what you wanted, but I wouldn't spam it or anything - just the most critical of critical things.

 Love the idea of a scheduler, implementation could be with an icon in the turn events on the right (maybe with a red border for special attention?)

Implement immediately. Like, yesterday immediately.
