[.952][NOT BUG] Oracle Ceresa with only 5 Dodge can dodge any attack except spells

As can be seen, she only has a dodge value of 5, yet she dodges every attack. When I attack with my heroes with no spells, I just can't kill her because she can dodge almost all attacks, swords or bows. Maybe once every 20 attacks she will receive some damage. I can easily kill her with spells though. But if I don't have spells, I have to escape from battle and auto-resolve the battle in order to defeat her. She doesn't seem to have any enchantment that effects dodge. Am I missing something or is it indeed a bug?

What about the cloak of fear?

Enemies must make a spell resistance check or they are unable to attack a unit protected by this enchantment.

Maybe that lists as dodge if they fail the check. I don't know exactly how it works, but if it's attacker's spell mastery vs her spell resistance it'd be nigh impossible to hit her with such a high spell resist.

Maybe..

 

1) Your accuracy sucks

2) You were blinded (see above)

3) You were exceptionally unlucky (in the realm of statistics, it has to happen sometime)

 

If none of the above, then you may have stumbled on a bug. Being able to reproduce it would help get any bug fixed though.

 

EDIT: Or Cloak of Fear... good eyes Heavenfall.

I just now read the description of the Cloak of Fear. I guess that because the "Dodge" text appears when my units fail to hit her, I thought it must be her dodge value that affects this. I was wrong.

My mistake. Cool enchantment then...

EDIT: Indeed my hero, which has a higher Spell Mastery is able to hit her from time to time. So it certainly isn't a bug. Sorry, I should have read more carefully. Though it shows that auto-resolve doesn't take into account such enchantments. But I guess it would be way too complicated to do so.

Don't change the title yet, I only made a suggestion as to why it's happening. I can't say for sure if that is how it works.

I think you were right. It shows "Afraid" on top of the units that fail to hit her, so it must be that enchantment that's causing this. Quite powerful enchantment...
