The relevance is that people tend to think they are more capable then they are. It makes sense, who wants a bad opinion of themselves. But the person themselves is least likely to be objective.
If we've doubt whether we are able to create this game, we woudn't start the project on Kickstarter.
However, we strongly consider adding an experienced developer of computer games to the team.

Yeah so the new race has no way to effectively manipulate objects. Hence they couldn't have gotten into space. They need fingers or tentacles or some other fine motor appendage that hasn't yet been invented.
Or telekinesis. Or some other way to interact with the world using their mind or pure force of will... Really though, it's silly to debate whether a 4x race is realistic. I mean, there is no shortage of crystalinbe space faring races who lack and obvious forms of locomotion or appendages.

I have watched the video at kickstarter. Really kickstarter is good source of upcoming games information. I found another space related games on kickstarter and name is Star Quest 2.
