Bug .952: Can not use earth/fire/life spells at same time

I created a custom character. I selected Earth, Fire, and Life all for spells. However, when I start the game I can not use enchanted hammers or natures's cloak. I check the character and earth is showing as one of his schools of magic. Is anyone else having this problem?

I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure Enchanted Hammers requires Earth II.

It only requires earth one, but when I restarted FE everything started working correctly. It must have been something that just got hung up until I restarted FE.
