City management

City management is not fun for me. It is brainless and repetitive. There is no large variety of improvements. Most of the improvements are similar. They just give you more resources: production, growth, research, mana, etc. Also there are duplicates that give you the same resource. I would like more interesting improvements. Here are examples of interesting improvements:

- allows to train creatures. More such improvements, please, especially in early-mid game. Recruiting ogres and trolls is needed in early game, not in mid game. Knights of Asok should be shifted to earlier stage too. Also expensive improvements can be added that allow to recruit Troll Warriors and Bone Ogres.

- allows to move without penalty in Forests/Swamps/Hills/Rivers in a large radius around the city.

- gives defence bonus to all units in a large radius around the city.

- allows to deliver items from shop to sovereign/champion and vice versa.

- allows to teleport between cities.

I agree with this, and like your ideas.

There are waaaaaaaaaaaaay too many '-10% unrest' and such improvements in the current system.  Very bland.

But I do believe beta 5 will be focused on spicing up the various systems in the game.

I agree with you - at the very least, the upgrade bonuses available for outposts (wardens, high tower, stables etc.) need to be made available also for cities.

lol surely not teleport

deliver items i dont like tbh

defense bonus in friendly territory is ok imo

maybe id prefer to have it from a tech maybe

movement i dont know there is a deep core problem here about it

civ5 solver it making cities attack so you cant dodge them

in FE instead there is too low penalty for dodging cities and going straight where you want,  removing penalty for defenses maybe coudl mitigate the problem but i think its too much for ai to handle, dunno
