[suggestion / idea] Haunted cities after monsters destroy them


I do enjoy that monsters roam and destroy cities (sometimes its also aggravating). Is it possible to mod or put in that when a monster group destroys a city, that instead of destroying the city, they destroy the populous and create a haunted city (quest). Where a player (AI) has to remove the ghosts of the city to reclaim the city back to its former glory. Wouldn't mind it if some buidlings were destroyed in the process. Also, the haunt could be level dependent on the city level that was destroyed. Say a level 1 city should be easy to get back (1 tactical battle or so), but a level 3 city would require maybe multiple tactical battles to acquire the city ruins.

I absoluely LOVE this idea!!! If there is no time to build into the release, PLEASE consider it for an expansion !!!

Not possible to mod in. Sounds like a neat idea for a wildlands though! I may steal  the idea.

If they do not go for this idea then they at least leave the grain/matierial/essence in place of a destroyed city so that future cities can be built in place of it.  It seems that right now all resources that fall in a cities (but not an outpost's) ZOC are lost for future building even if the city is razed by monsters.

Monsters raze cities ?!?
