[.951 UI] Tribute offer is confusing

When an AI "offers tribute", he's actually demanding tribute. The trade window that shows the offer does not make it clear that you are agreeing to pay 10% of your income to him. There's a tooltip that lets you know that 10% of income is involved, but it's not clear whether you're paying him or he's paying you. In addition to that, unless you've gone into the diplomacy windows and seen the details of the demand tribute and offer tribute options, you have no idea of the term of the offer (30 seasons?) when this window pops up, so you have no idea of whether the offer is worthwhile or not.

I agree, that is very vague and an annoying "feature" for the new beta 4 section, hope they upgrade the dialog (been up before though, obviously bears repeating :D)

Haven't seen it in 0.952 yet, so dunno if it will change.

The text is not technically wrong, it's just that the proposal itself is counter-intuitive: Giving gold to obtain a tribute in return ... Maybe the AI should be corrected not to do that kind of offer.

Agreed. Earlier today I thought I was getting tribute from puny Gildar, when in fact I was paying them; and they were the weakest player in the game 8(|

I think the text is wrong, it should not say "We would like to offer you tribute", since that means they will pay me.

It should say "We would like to receive tribute, but offer this gold as a compensation".

I also think Tribute should have a way better description, describing turns its going to take, and % of income taken/given so I know what I am clicking yes to.

Exactly. The player needs to be given enough information to know how to respond.
