The exact same thing happened in my first Beta 4 game, too! In my case, Delin brought some more of his friends with him. I didn't stand a chance.
He's just lonely and needs a hug!, a big big warm hug...
I hope we get less wandering bosses, and instead the spawn underling, fire elementals or something to rage on the world.
