I have established kingdom basically surrounding a wildlands. In the last few turns Vetrar, Guardian of the World's End, has decided to leave the wildlands boundary and wander around my area. Not a big deal except that I need to avoid him like the plague currently. Is this supposed to happen?
I had the same thing happen to me with Delin, the Pyre of Man, in my first game of Beta 4. He left the Burning Lands, after Magnar sent a Scout inside, accompanied by several armies of Bone Ogres, Albino Spiders and an Ashwake Dragon. Needless to say, that my only two cities didn't stand a chance. Game over after about 70 turns.
I don't think that this is intentional, but at least it establishes the Wildlands as places to be feared and better left alone in the early game.
I wish this happened to me. I was destroyed just by a Ashwake Dragon. My two heroes and lvl 3 city guardsmen didn't make a dent in him.
His lair was 2 screens away and he decided to move all the way to my only city and destroy me before turn 100
