Beta 4: Manual activation not working

I have followed the procedures for manual activation and deposited the resulting file in the specified directory.

Now when I click to start Fallen Enchantress, it never opens. It seems like it will as the hard drive blinks and I get a little icon telling me things are afoot... but nothing ever launches.

Any help?
