[0.95 BUG] Deadly quest not unlocked even after researching Ereog's Journal

I am playing a custom Empire character. Trog. 

 

Found that all the deadly and epic quests are still not unlocked even after I researched their respective tech.  

 

Erm... anyway to fix them? Cuz it is kinda sad if I can't do some of the epic quests :(

I am having this problem too,   I can't do any quests above the first or second level.   Takes out a major fun part of the game for me.   I am also using a custom sov\kingdom.

... Are you sure you're playing the right version. You should be able to undertake epic quests as soon as you start the game. The only thing that should be locked are your factions heroes.

Ah. I think I know what is the issue? The custom empire was created using 0.93, and I just reuse it straight after I patch it to 0.95?

Can this be a possible cause? I am sure the game is the right version cuz I still get Town, Conclave, Fortress, etc.

Eterna2-  That is a good point.   I will have to try a game after creating a new faction.  CdrRogdan I did recall seeing the note in the change log that says all quests are supposed to be unlocked from the beginning so i was surprised to find any locked quest.   Lets see what happens with my newly created faction\sov.

Made a new faction and new sovereign and have the same problem now that i was brave enough once to go for one. Won't work.

Just and update here/  I created a new custom faction\sov and now all quests are available to em from the beginning like they should be.

All quests are available at start, you don't unlock them. I don't know what happened in your game thiotes. Try deleting all created factions and sovereigns, then reinstall maybe.
