FE Multiplayer?

I can't find anything on the main page or FAQ that says one way or the other, does FE have multiplayer? And is it improved from War of Magic?

Me and a few friends picked up Elemental: War Of Magic wanting a good turn based strategy game to play together, unfortunately some of the features are lacking. I like the general concept and gameplay, but without a superior multiplayer I don't foresee myself getting Fallen Enchantress.
