Heroes for hire, with less abilities.

Am I the only one thinking its directly stupid to find a hero for hire with less abilities than what his current starting level would allow

Take Joffery for example, a level 3 Altarian hero standing in the middle of nowhere waiting for someone to come pick him up and pay him a wager, but he IS a level 3 hero with only 2 abilites, leaving him a little unwanted, by me anyways.
I think its such a shame...

I agree. I often leave the weaker heroes un-hired for this reason. Meanwhile the heroes with 2 paths are usually very strong.

I take all I can find/afford. One more for you, one less for the enemy. Still, I agree that they should be better developed.

I hire them, level once, pick PotG, then turn them into city defenders. It doesn't really matter if they have 2 skills or 10.

I hope they give each hero a polish pass and I believe they will.  Each hero should have something unique... a unique spell or ability, a unique companion, or a unique item...

Whats wrong with "Joffery the Useless"? ^_^ (That was ironic ;))
I pretty much hope they update the trait system, just a little bit, like excommunicating all the boring ones

I like champions that have different levels.  They are fun to develop.  I just wish they would bring back the imbue spell and make it so only the sovereigns have access to magic.  As it is now, almost every champion is a magic user.  Even Joffery the Useless will become as powerful as any sovereign once he starts going down the Path of the Mage.

I think that was a poor game development decision.  Magic is watered down now.
