I start a new game. Can play for hours on end.. no problem.
BUT.. every single game I save and at a later time loads to continue crashes. 100%. I haven't been able to finish one game in 20+ tries.
Having played some more, but this time with one of the starting factions, I haven't experienced any crashes at all.. so maybe it's just with the custom factions something's wrong?
Its important that you report the crashes as shown i FE Beta forum. So they can kill those bugs...

If you need further help of how to report issues dont be afraid to ask, general guidelines is the more info you can give the better, the most important thing on crashes is the debug.err file found in the documents (Look inside the link, they have a detailed guide)
Meaby your crash was a freak accident though, (solved itself by restarting the game)
Next time, if it is reproducible from a savegame the savegame file is also nice to be shared.
