[.915 Bug] Cursor and the terrain

In my game my cursor sometimes doesn't match up to the terrain it is hovering over.  It fails to "snap to the grid" and sometimes causes my units to move to squares that I definitely did not want them to move into.  It is really finicky too, I'll have to work kinda hard to get the cursor to highlight the correct square.

Have seen this I believe in tactical combat...it doesn't happen too often because sometimes it's hard to tell if it was me clicking too quickly or really a misindication of the square highlight.  And it appears to happen more often if for example in the isometric view if there is a hill 'south' of the square you try to click on.  The cursor itself may point at the hill but the green highlight is highlighting the tile above it through the hill.

This would appear to be the correct mechanic, you want your grid while in the isometric view to ignore terrain and highlight squares ignoring occlusion of features and focused on (x,y) location of mouse.  It is just that it appears that the feature that the cursor is seems to sometimes get priority over the highlighted tile.

Have forgotten to try and reproduce.

I have also experienced this in .914.

I have had the issue when trying to engage an enemy army or creature on the strategic map... the cursor shows crossed swords as I hover over what I think to be the move that will cause me to engage, but the faint highlight square is adjacent to where I want my army to actually go and attack.  Meaning I "miss" my attack and move adjacent to the enemy...

yeah we've reported this numerous times and usually get a response that it works just fine for everyone at Stardock.  i doubt they'll ever fix it.

Yeah, happens to me too, super annoying.

This is worst when it messes up my tactical combat! xD

Just lost a ton of troops on a difficult battle because it was dead-hard hitting the right spots, and units deciding to attack when I move next to my enemy, instead of waiting for my next order.

I...see this and it gets me everytime.  Making me think I clicked wrongish.  I thought I kind of narrowed down what one of the conditions was.  It always seemed to happen with my units that had no ranged attacks available and it was their very last move.  I didn't see it when the unit had moves left but would have to go by the enemy, from what I remember.

This becomes especially problematic when my unit has a non-ranged special ability, like losing my stun chance on "Megaweapon."

This one has been hard for me to remember to test because I seem to doubt if my click was in the right spot and I can't reload tactical turns.  And I most often encounter this when doing battle against a fortified city where after I clear some space I make a run at the archers.  Or a long battle against a large creature and minions.

I see this happen usually around mountains in strategic... it's like the height values of the terrain is messing with the cursor. What I've done recently is switched my view point to 3 (I think - it's the one where you look down and tiles is aligned like boxes instead of diamonds). I haven't encountered this problem with it in this view, maybe give it a shot?

As for tactical, I don't seem to have this problem unless you're talking about the battle with Abeix... that is just another beast all together.

Was talking about trying to use the bite attack off my 2 ophidians I had trained to level 3 and 4... Sadly they died cause they decided to disobey >)
But as said before, it is infuriatingly hard for me to try and use stun attacks, and bite attacks in melee...

The mountain stuff, well I wish it would be fixed, but atleast I made my game auto-save each turn, so if it messes up my game terribly I simply reload (Like troops deciding to move away from my city, instead of into my city, when enemies are at the gates. (I like to build my cities next to mountains and hills, even though the map is going to look like crap afterwards).
