Derek and Brad: Please fix UI annoyances before moving on to Beta 4

Hi guys,

This game is getting better and better but there are a number of UI annoyances that drive me crazy with the game - even to the point of quitting at times.

At the top of the list is the non-ability to position troops when entering a tactical battle. This is so damned annoying! Is there a way to have glaring issues such as this addressed before proceeding to the city management beta?

I'm not sure if that even counts as one of the many UI annoyances Das Each release has a few UI nuggets but nothing we've been asking for yet.

Well UI will change with major patch changes I suppose, when they redo the cities they are going to need a new interface for the cities, etc. that is why ( I think ) that they are delaying putting in top notch UI in the game until the very last moment, so they wont have to redo the UI work all the time.

Agreed. I think Tactical Battle placement is an important addition and would only add to the strength of tactical combat, without adding new systems like flanking, zone of control, etc. Seems like a fairly obvious and simple way to improve tactical battles without adding new complexity.

Well If comes to UI I wish for proper event queuing and "zoom to event", icons at armies in strategic map (so I didn't have to switch to cloth) and shard number info in Tactical:D I find first two quite crucial.
