apologies if this has been reported before, but I found it quite amusing.
I setup a 1v1 game on a tiny map. Game loaded, and the AI player was killed
by monsters before I even had my turn 
That's why it might be a good idea for monsters not to get a go on the first turn, so everyone can put down their cities. 
Lol. Reminds me of when my kids were little and I'd promise to tell them a story when they got into bed. Became a bit of a in-joke. Here it is in its entirety:
'Once upon a time there was the shortest story ever told. The end.'
