[0.913] Ashwake dragon did some kind of fireball attack, but no effect

I met an ashwake dragon in I think the burning lands. About halfway through the battle it stopped and did some kind of fireball attack on me, but instant. There was no visual effect though, so it was really hard to understand what was going on. The damage still took, and lots of it
