Interface error after winning a game

After winning a game by using the creation spell the game ended but after closing the rating window I got a research complete notification.

After clicking the "open research" button (the only button available) I got to the research selection window.

The UI has only the FE background and the research selction window, I can't close the window or bring the main menu up.
