[0.913] Tactical Combat Unit Portraits Repeated Over and Over on Left Side of Screen - NOT BUG SORRY...

In tactical battles, the Unit Portraits that show health status are repeated over and over on the left side of the screen (this is for every battle I fight).  For example, in a 1:1 battle, I see 12 unit portraits on the left side of the screen (alternating my unit and the opposing unit) and then the Next portrait, which shows my opponent's unit.  There are no unit portraits on the right side of the screen.

I am using Windows 7 64-bit with an Nvidia GTX 680.

I thought this is to show the order in which turns will be taken.  Not a bug.

To clarify: the bottom big picture is the one currently taking turn, the one right above it is the next unit to move, and so on up the list. This is intended, though may need some further explanation because apparently, not everyone figures it out right away.

Ah...yeah, I didn't understand that at all.  :(  When I hover my mouse over a portrait, all instances for that unit highlight so it looked like some kind of weird duplicating picture bug.

Sorry for the false bug report, but it is definitely confusing and a break from standard convention from the global map as well as pretty much any other game in this genre that I've played.  I'm not saying this is a bad thing...just that it is very different.  Now that I understand what is being displayed, I can see how it is very useful in being able to plan out actions between various units over multiple turns.
