[0.913] General feedback

Hi,

I just wanted to provide some quite general feedback:

- The "continue" button should be placed on the top of the main menu. That's a more common position and its less likely to accidentally hit exit by over-/undershooting.

- The "equip" button should bring up the inventory/equipment dialog or some kind of tooltip with the item stats should be added. Right now it's impossible to decide whether I want to equip the item or not. This has been already mentioned elsewhere.

- When a city finishes it's build queue a "zoom-to-city" option would be nice. It often goes unnoticed when a city is idle.

- An option to enable vertical sync! I'm suffering from some quite heavy tearing from time to time. I usually enforce this setting through the driver but somehow the game manages to work around this setting :) I somewhere read that the reason for this is that FE uses a fullscreen window rather than the fullscreen mode?

- I think there should be a way to explore the capabilities of armies and monsters on both maps (tactical and campaign map).  Opponents are more than their healthpoints, attack and armor values and right now there is only the "details" dialog. Maybe the traits can be placed in the tooltip too?

And some comments on the game mechanics:

- Building pioneers seems to be the only reasonable option in the early phase. I usually end up with a few cities and outposts but its almost impossible to protect them. Units are just too expensive or take too much time to build even a few of them.  After a few dozen turns this is less of a problem but in the early phase this feels quite unbalanced.

- Sometimes my army can only move a single tile while the unit stats indicate that the unit/stack has two moves. Is this a misconception on my side or are there tiles with limited movement?

- Outposts should be able to defend themselves. How about making them upgradeable so they can be extended to some kind of fortress?

That's about it for now. Maybe I'll add more later on. Thanks for reading.

I gotta say when I found out you could click the monster's icon (bottom left corner) and get full details, combat stats, weaknesses, strengths, AND backstory, my "wow" factor with this game went up another notch.

Forests, Rivers, Swamps take more than one move - there's an empire ('Master Scouts' - Tarth?) and a unit-specific talent that negates them so it only costs one move.

:) I know but afaik there is no such thing on tactical map. It's nice to have the full-fledged dialog but I think mostly a quick overview will do.

Okay, is there some way to see this on the campaign map? Basically I just want to know how far my stack can move in a given turn. Maybe this can be indicated by different colors for the trail/path.

Just click on the portrait of the unit whose stats you would like to pull up in the initiative list on the left side of the tactical combat screen.

I would like a 'view city' option when a city levels up. If there's no grain in the city is there any point in building a garden?

Thanks. Somehow this wasn't obvious to me :)
