Great job, huge improvement over elemental

Got to say im hooked. I loved MoM back in the day, and was hugely disappointed in elemental, however i have to give SD kudos for working on making it better, and wow is it, AND giving it to people who bought elemental for free.

I loved galactic civ, DA and ToA. but then SoaSE was just soso.. thne elemental, but you stuck to your guns and made the game fun again.

I do have a few points id like to address:

1. Random hanging (yes i know this is beta) but it happens a lot, esp after hitting auto engage with dogs, scouts, ect, and ofter i cant hit "end turn" it just sits

2. I'm not sure if the amount of food in the world is as designed, however i can't seem to get more then 1 lvl 4 and 2 level 3 cities without researching refined food 10 times.

3. Some upgrades need to be tweaked, my archers had the magic bows (fire attack) and then "upgraded" to 8 damage bows. I realize i was the one to hit upgrade, but i figured it would BE an upgrade.

4. MULTIPLAYER

5. MULTIPLAYER

6 - 1000  M U L T I P L A Y E R

i know SD doesnt make many MP games, but omg this would be a great one, AND you would sell more games, cause if i have to buy Call of Duty to play with my friends, they have to buy this to play with me :) made them all buy Civ 5 :( but i still have some credit from buying 5 FPS's they owe me :)

I completely agree. I was very disappointed with Elemental after it was released, stopped playing it and pretty much forgot about the game. I didn't go raging on the forums or anything like that, I simply stopped playing and moved on to other games. Recently I downloaded Fallen Enchantress Beta to check it out, and I'm completely blown away by how much better the game is overall. It definitely has this "one more turn" factor that's so important in turn based games.

Agreed, I seem to be having this same problem as well. Not sure if it's just bad luck with world generator or working as intended.

Got to agree fully.  This game rocks.  It's a shame about it getting soured from SD previous mistakes.

But let's face it if EFE can't bring the fans back, then nothing will.

I belive they are adding mulitplayer at some point, just want to get the single player game down first.  I'm gonna be buying several copies for family & friends once it launches, would be nice to play it with them.

This is looking a lot more promising than War of Magic.

I really had high hopes for Elemental but always thought they weren't giving it enough time to bake. The final game felt half baked to me. It looks to me that they're doing things right this time.

Yeah, unit upgrades could be better, it's not particularly intuitive or user-friendly right now. I liked the way ship upgrades in Galciv were handled, easy to see exactly what you're upgrading and what the cost would be.

Would be great with an update screen showing current unit and the unit it would become if you upgraded.
